Frequently Asked Questions
OxyMould has been thoroughly tested on upholsteries and interiors by leading car manufacturers and has proven to be safe on car leathers, carpets, plastics and fabrics if used as directed.
The short answer is yes, but you must test it on an inconspicuous section of the furniture or garment before you do your de-moulding to ensure that our OxyMould does not discolour or damage your fabric.
For extra safety on sensitive fabrics, only spray OxyMould on surfaces an hour after the tablet has been added to the water. When the tablet is added to the water, the initial chemical reaction stage releases certain chemicals which may bleach sensitive fabrics, but these chemicals disappear after 30 minutes after the tablet has been added to the water.
Yes you can. It might take a few regular applications, but it will 100% remove the mould, or your money back!
One must note that, even although the OxyMould will eliminate the mould and spores on application, over time the mould will slowly return since there are constantly spores floating in the air, and over time they tend to grow and thrive in damp, humid environments. There is no product which can prevent mould from coming back which is also safe for human and animal exposure.
Yes, as long as the source water is clear to the eye you can use it with OxyMould.

For long term mould elimination, one must stop the source of the moisture if possible, such as a leak or rising damp.
Up to 4-6 weeks.
We have built a colour indicator into the OxyMould to let you know whether it's going to work or not.
When the solution is a greenish yellow, the OxyMould is active. Once it goes clear it is no longer active and you need to add another tablet.
If kept out of direct sunlight, OxyMould will last up to 6 weeks once added to water.
Do not store the product on a window shelf or in direct sunlight, as this will degrade the chemical within hours.
OxyMould tablets can last over 2 years if kept unopened in their foil packaging.
